Eminem（エミネム）は、アメリカの代表的なラッパーで2010年代に最も売れたアメリカのアーティストにも選出されています。Rolling Stoneが選ぶthe 100 Greatest Artists of All Timeとthe 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Timeにも選ばれています。その他業績が多数あり、ラッパーに留まらずミュージシャンとしての金字塔を打ち立てています。

歌詞を分析してみるとあらゆる箇所で韻を踏みまくっています。連続する単語同士、パートの語尾、パート内の単語、、
隅なく韻を配置する技術はまさに達人と言えるでしょう。
この感動的な韻をもっと多くの人に知ってもらいたいと思い、今回EminemのLose Yourselfという曲で韻を踏んでいると思われる箇所を分析し、見える化してみました！

いかがでしょうか。百聞は一見に如かず。こうやって見える化してみると、その規則性の美しさが際立ちますね～
個人的には序盤の下記部分が好きです。緻密に複数の韻が組み込まれているのと歌詞の悲壮感が相まって最高に心地いいですね。

外国語である英語の韻を一つずつ見つけ出すのは地道な作業で、英語のネイティブだったら楽なのにな、、と何度も思いましたが、韻を発見する度に脳内麻薬が発生し何とかやり切れました。
もちろんこれは完璧な分析ではなく、発見できていない韻やEminemが意図しないものを含まれている可能性がありますが、少しでもEminemの韻の凄みが伝わればと思います！
